Guitar Center reached the 100th store mark with the Grand Opening of the Little Rock store on February 21, 2002. In 2005, G.C.’s acquisition of Music & Arts Center brought 62 new stores throughout the US, catering to a completely new instrument market. With clear-cut goals and good old fashioned customer service that caters to the musician’s every need, Guitar Center still proves more than ever to be a strong link between musicians and the tools of the trade.

For in-store purchases, just bring in the ad, even if it’s our own, along with your Guitar Center receipt, and we’ll gladly refund the difference.

We’ll verify the online pricing and product description, brand name, availability, and relative price and product specifications. Due to manufacturer restrictions, some products are excluded from this guarantee. Please ask a sales representative for details or contact us at online support. Advertised items must be factory-sealed new product. Demo models, vintage and used merchandise, factory seconds, sale items, discontinued merchandise, exclusive and floor samples not included. Items must be advertised, and verifiable on the web or in a local or national paper, magazine, or catalog by an authorized dealer (you may be required to email or fax a copy of the competitor’s offer). If you’re not satisfied, neither are we. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it in its original condition within 30 days of the in-store purchase date or online purchase shipment date. (14 days on certain items, see below**), and we’ll give you a full refund.
For in-store purchases, just bring your purchase complete with all original packaging, manual, and accessories back to any Guitar Center location for exchange or refund.***
For online purchases, please phone 1-866-498-7882 for a Return Authorization Number and follow the instructions for making returns printed on the back of your invoice. All returned items must include the original packaging complete with all components including the warranty card and owner’s manual and show no signs of wear or abuse; otherwise the return will either be refused or subject to a 15% restocking fee. Credit card returns are issued a credit for purchase price. Refunds are made for product value only, excluding shipping and handling charges.

*Restrictions: Due to certain legal and health restrictions, computer software (copyright legislation mandates no returns on opened software), books, videos, CDs, harmonicas, internal earphones, earplugs, and microphones are exempt from this policy. Computers, DJ cartridges and styli, fog fluid, cleaning products, vintage items, demo gear, opened strings, and tubes are also exempt as are any items special ordered from a manufacturer for a specific customer.
**There is a 14-day return policy on the following items:
Recording devices - multitrack and mixdown, DJ mixers, turntables and CD players, studio monitors, pro workstation keyboards, rackmount signal processors, fog machines, and lighting effects.
***There is a 15% restocking fee on open-box returns.
